at the Concord Community Music School!
In 2022, 93 students participated in the Fall Festival, which was a record-breaking number. Three recitals were held in-person at the Concord Community Music and two recitals were held virtually. All participants performed a piece from the required repertoire list and received written feedback from the two of the ten NHMTA teachers who judged the event.
The purpose of the Fall Festival is to provide an opportunity for students to perform in a non-competitive setting and receive positive critiques from NHMTA teacher-members. Each year a special topic will be chosen, which could include a highlighted style period, composer, or a particular genre. By playing in a recital setting, students will be exposed to a variety of repertoire and to other students playing both similar and diverse compositions.
